Software Tester

Responsibilities:

• Zoho Application Testing:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically for Zoho applications (CRM, Creator, Desk, etc.).
    
  • Test customizations, integrations, and workflows within the Zoho environment.
    
  • Verify data integrity and consistency across Zoho applications.
    
  • Perform functional, usability, and performance testing of Zoho solutions.
    
• General Software Testing:
  • Analyze requirements and user stories to understand the functionality of the software.
    
  • Design and implement automated test scripts where appropriate.
    
  • Create and maintain test data.
    
  • Execute test cases and document results, including pass/fail status and any defects found.
    
  • Identify, isolate, and report software defects with clear and concise descriptions.
    
  • Track and manage defects using a defect tracking system.
    
  • Retest resolved defects to ensure they are fixed correctly.
    
  • Generate test reports summarizing test results and defect status.
    

• Zoho Specific Tasks:
  • Test Zoho CRM workflows, custom functions, and integrations with other systems.
    
  • Test Zoho Creator applications, forms, reports, and Deluge scripting.
    
  • Test Zoho Desk ticket management, automation rules, and customer portal functionality.
    
  • Verify Zoho application configurations and customizations meet business requirements.
    
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and Zoho consultants.
    
  • Communicate effectively with the development team regarding defects and test results.
    
  • Participate in agile development processes.
    
• Quality Assurance:
  • Contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
    
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and Zoho best practices.
    

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  
• Experience: [0-1 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Zoho applications.
  

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.
  
• Hands-on experience with Zoho CRM, Creator, Desk, and other relevant Zoho applications.
  
• Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  
• Experience with Zoho's Deluge scripting language is a significant advantage.
  
• Familiarity with Zoho APIs and integration methods.
  
• Proficiency in using defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
