Software Tester

Salary: RM 3,500 – RM 5,200 per month

As a Software Tester, you will work closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery of web-based applications.

Job Description

• Collaborate with software developers and support teams

• Analyse user stories, use cases, and requirements to create comprehensive test plans.

• Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing

• Maintain detailed logs of test phases, results, and defects, ensuring all issues are properly tracked.

• Report, track, and communicate software defects to development teams using issue tracking tools

• Conduct testing across multiple environments (web, mobile, etc.) to verify compatibility and performance.

• Write and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyses results

• Work within project deadlines and coordinate with development and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases.

· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar QA role, with strong knowledge of both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.

• Diploma in Computer Science or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over deliverables Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

· Experience with HR, payroll, or time management systems is an advantage.

· Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools is a plus
