Solar Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Solar Design Engineer specializing in rooftop solar projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and executing solar solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. This role involves creating practical and cost-effective rooftop solar designs, ensuring they are ready for execution. The candidate will manage projects ranging from 10 kW to 500 kW, conducting site surveys, assessing technical feasibility, and preparing detailed documentation. Key responsibilities include designing solar systems, preparing 2D/3D layouts, performing string sizing, and creating Single Line Diagrams (SLDs). The engineer will also optimize designs for cost, performance, and safety, while coordinating with utility teams for technical requirements and approvals. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with tools such as SketchUp, HelioScope, ARKA 360, and PVsyst, along with a solid understanding of DISCOM/utility processes. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to present technical designs to clients.
