Job Title: Solar Service Technician
Job Summary:
This position is for a Solar Technician responsible for theinstallation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of solar PVsystems to ensure stable system operation. Meetings with customers and provide onsite support will be an essentialpart of the job.
In addition, the role involves conducting root causeanalysis, preparing technical reports, and managing spare parts inventory. Thecandidate will also participate in industry conferences to learn industry newsand keep abreast with the latest solar technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform varying corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance forsolar PV systems.
- Interact with customers on a professional level to provide requiredsupport.
- Perform onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Check and provide complete documentation to clients.
- Carry out site root analysis.
- Attend the conference and B2B meetings to assess new solar PV systemtechnologies.
- Apply root cause analysis techniques on all major and recurringfaults.
- Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical reports.
- Record keeping and management of spare part movements.
- Able to develop training materials and courseware.
- Provide technical training and technical guidance to customers.
- Any other duties as assignedby management.
Requirements:
- ITE certificate/ Poly diploma in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 2-3years ofexperience in Solar Service Technician.
- Proven experience as a Solar Technician or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, electrical systems, andsafety protocols.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to workindependently.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Relevant solar certifications or licenses preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physicaltasks as required.
Working Location:
Office address is at Tai Seng Exchange. However, remote work arrangement will be required to service and commission on site.
Working hour:
9am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary Range
SGD 3,200 to 4,000 per month.
Salary package will commensuratewith qualification and work experience.
