Solar Service Technician - Urgent Need!

Sol-Up is looking for a Solar Service Technician to join our Operations team, reporting to the Operations Manager. The Solar Service Technician will have experience in the solar industry and be able to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on solar panels and systems. This role involves working on rooftops, ground-mounted systems, and other installations, ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and local codes. The ideal candidate will have skills in electrical work, experience with solar installations, and a passion for renewable energy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on solar panels and systems with attention to detail
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with solar panels and systems in a timely manner
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Communicate with customers with professionalism to provide updates on work progress and answer any questions they may have
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including work trucks, tools and equipment
- Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety as directed
- Use designated tools, systems, resources, and applications to manage various aspects of the job
- Represent Sol-Up and our brand with professionalism, integrity, and passion
- Strictly follows quality, safety and workplace behavior standards
- Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company
- Complete other duties as assigned or required
