Soldering Technician I/II

In-Person Position
OXOS is searching for a detailed-oriented and quality-driven Soldering Technician to join our high-growth company. You will join a dynamic team of passionate people who work daily to change how radiographic diagnostics are delivered. OXOS’ mission is to increase access and availability using the world’s first portable Dynamic Digital Radiography devices.
Responsibilities
As the Soldering Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality soldering and assembly operations on electro-mechanical and PCB-based products in accordance with controlled manufacturing work instructions (MWIs), quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role ensures product reliability through precise workmanship, adherence to process controls, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing hand soldering of through-hole and surface mount components to IPC standards.
- Assembling electro-mechanical systems, including cable harnesses and PCB subassemblies.
- Interpreting MWIs, drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
- Maintaining high workmanship standards.
- Performing in-process inspections of solder joints.
- Following ESD and controlled environmental practices.
- Maintaining traceability and production records.
- Assisting in developing and improving work instructions.
- Maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2+ years soldering experience.
- Ability to read drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hand soldering small components, high-voltage applications preferred.
- IPC certifications (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries preferred.
- Familiarity with ESD programs preferred
