Solicitor (2-4 PQE) | Insolvency & Commercial Litigation

The opportunity

Join one of Australia's premier disputes practices and work on significant insolvency, asset recovery and commercial litigation matters.

Our Disputes team is ranked Band 1 by Chambers Asia-Pacific and acts for major banks, insolvency practitioners, corporates, accounting firms, and government clients on matters that sit at the forefront of the Australian market.

This role will see you work with Natalie Tatasciore who is recognised as one of Australia's foremost insolvency and disputes lawyers. She advises on insolvency-related disputes, regulatory investigations, asset recovery, and major commercial litigation. You'll also collaborate with specialists across the firm including restructuring, banking, tax, financial services, and corporate law to deliver commercial outcomes for clients facing complex business challenges.

What you'll do

· Advise on insolvency, asset recovery, and commercial litigation matters

· Work directly with clients, counsel, experts, and insolvency practitioners

· Assist with litigation strategy, evidence preparation, interlocutory applications, and hearings

· Contribute to investigations, recovery actions, and enforcement proceedings

· Build strong client relationships and become a trusted member of the team

About you

We're looking for a lawyer with:

· 2-4 years' PQE gained in a leading disputes, insolvency, or commercial litigation practice with previous insolvency disputes experience

· Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills

· A commercial mindset and sound judgement

· The ability to develop practical, strategic solutions to complex issues

· Confidence managing matters and building client relationships

· A collaborative approach and commitment to exceptional client service

· Ambition to develop as a specialist disputes lawyer within a market-leading practice
