About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of strategic technology solutions within the Collections and Distressed Client Management domain.

The role combines strong banking and credit lifecycle knowledge with modern cloud-native architecture expertise. The successful candidate will translate business, regulatory, and operational requirements into scalable technology solutions supporting collections, debt treatment, recovery, and distressed client management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture initiatives within Collections and Distressed Client Management.
  • Translate business strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational needs into target-state architectures and roadmaps.
  • Provide architectural guidance across early collections, late collections, debt treatment, and debt recovery.
  • Design scalable, cloud-native, event-driven solutions using modern architecture patterns.
  • Lead solution design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Define integration strategies across core banking, risk, CRM, and related platforms.
  • Engage and influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Facilitate architecture governance and decision-making forums.
  • Produce architecture documentation, standards, roadmaps, and technical designs.
  • Mentor engineers and technical leads on architecture best practices.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, risk requirements, and technology investments.

  • Experience working within highly regulated financial services environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and architectural leadership capabilities.
  • Experience with Agile ways of working.

Strong knowledge of the credit lifecycle and distressed client management, including:

  • Customer default management
  • Early collections
  • Late collections
  • Forbearance

Desirable Skills
