Solution Architect (API / Microservice / DevOps) Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end technology solutions for enterprise projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT strategy.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, architectural blueprints, and integration designs.
- Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, principles, and guidelines.
- Oversee solution implementation, integration, and migration, providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate architecture review and approval processes, ensuring solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Engage with cross-functional teams including application development, infrastructure, DevOps, and business units to drive architecture adoption and ensure solution feasibility.
- Conduct technical evaluations and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools.
- Prepare and deliver clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support vendor evaluation, selection, and management to ensure alignment with architectural vision and organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relatedfield.
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or related technical roles.
- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-grade solutions (on-premises and cloud).
- Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficient in designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
Certifications(Preferred)
- TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, or other relevant certifications.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Network and Security Architecture.
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., MAS, PCIDSS, ISO 27001).
- Exposure to data governance, data lake, or advanced analytics platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience in the banking, finance, or highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL processes.
