Solution Architect – Azure Cloud Integration Architecture & Enterprise Systems

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 8–10 years of expertise in large and/or complex system integration projects.

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in crafting software, platform, and infrastructure architecture plans to support business outcomes.

• Demonstrated strong understanding of various integration and architecture technologies.

• Experience in cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure (primary) and AliCloud (for Asia market deployments).

• Note: Manulife utilizes Microsoft Azure with little to no deviation, except for niche projects in Asia where AliCloud is required.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Proven experience supporting Asia market rollouts, including familiarity with regional compliance, integration patterns, and delivery models.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Strong knowledge of API design, integration patterns, and cloud-based architectures.

• Proficiency in integration technologies such as APIs, ESBs, microservices, message brokers, ETL tools, and protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.).

• Ability to assess trade-offs between various integration approaches and platform design strategies.

• Exposure to Generative AI platforms and their enterprise applications is a plus.
