Solution Architect
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our Technology team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role.
This role will play a key part in supporting several strategic initiatives, including the evolution of our enterprise architecture landscape and the modernisation of our HRIS, Payroll and Time & Attendance platforms.
We're particularly interested in individuals who bring solution architecture expertise across at least two of the following domains:
- Supply Chain
- Customer & Channel (Sales, Marketing, Point of Sale, Ordering and eCommerce)
- Core Finance & Shared Services
- Human Resources, Payroll and Workforce Management Systems
Experience delivering HRIS, Payroll and Time & Attendance transformation programs will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and govern solution architectures across business applications, data, integration, cloud, infrastructure and security domains.
- Provide architecture leadership and assurance across strategic transformation initiatives, including HRIS, Payroll and Time & Attendance programs.
- Partner with business stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure and fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Evaluate solution options, identify trade-offs and provide clear recommendations balancing business outcomes, risk, cost and delivery considerations.
- Review vendor proposals, integration designs, implementation approaches and solution architectures to ensure alignment with Bapcor standards and strategic direction.
- Support enterprise architecture governance processes, including architecture reviews, standards, patterns and roadmap development.
- Drive solution modernisation, platform rationalisation and technology simplification initiatives aligned to Bapcor's future-state architecture.
- Develop architecture artefacts including solution diagrams, integration models, decision records, implementation roadmaps and governance documentation.
