Solution Architect - Blue Yonder ESP (Functional)

We are looking for an experienced Blue Yonder ESP Solution Architect with strong functional consulting and supply planning expertise to lead end-to-end solution design and implementation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Blue Yonder Enterprise Supply Planning (ESP), multiple end-to-end implementations, and strong expertise in supply planning solution design, including LPOpt. The role requires a purely functional consultant who can independently lead requirement-gathering workshops, translate business requirements into scalable supply planning solutions, and engage with senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end functional solution design and implementation of Blue Yonder ESP solutions.
• Conduct business requirement-gathering sessions and solution-design workshops with business stakeholders.
• Translate supply chain and manufacturing requirements into effective supply planning solutions.
• Configure and design Blue Yonder ESP solutions to address complex supply planning challenges.
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise in LPOpt and other relevant ESP planning algorithms.
• Design and validate supply planning constraints, including capacity, material availability, production, and resource constraints.
• Drive functional solution design for complex supply planning scenarios across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with business users, functional teams, technical teams, and integration teams throughout implementation.
• Define functional specifications, test scenarios, and validation criteria; support SIT, UAT, and deployment activities.
• Lead functional workshops, solution walkthroughs, stakeholder presentations, and user training sessions.
• Provide functional consulting support during implementation, go-live, and hypercare.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, system performance, and overall supply chain efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in supply chain planning, with significant experience as a Blue Yonder ESP Solution Architect or Functional Consultant.
• Strong functional expertise in Blue Yonder ESP (formerly JDA Enterprise Supply Planning).
• Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end Blue Yonder ESP implementations.
• Strong background in supply planning consulting, business process analysis, and solution design.
• Hands-on experience with LPOpt (Linear Programming Optimizer) and relevant ESP planning algorithms.
• Strong understanding of supply planning concepts, including capacity planning, material constraints, production scheduling, resource utilization, and optimization.
• Proven ability to independently lead requirement-gathering and solution-design workshops.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into functional solution designs.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently present and defend proposed solutions to senior business stakeholders.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, discrete manufacturing, or other complex manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
• Blue Yonder ESP certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with multiple full-cycle ESP implementations, from requirements and solution design through deployment and hyper care.
• Exposure to SPARQ, Math Solver, or other relevant Blue Yonder ESP planning algorithms.
• Experience working with ERP integrations and enterprise supply chain applications.
• Working knowledge of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and enterprise system architecture is beneficial but secondary to functional expertise.
