Solution Architect Collateral Management - The Fuel Group Limited

Summary

Design and implement collateral management solutions for capital markets clients, translating business processes into IT components with deep knowledge of post-trade processing, margining, and settlement.

Our consultancy client are looking for an architect with deep experience in Collateral Management and a working knowledge of asset servicing and settlements to be able to deliver an end-to-end solution, with the ability to translate business processes into IT functional components and solutions. Be able to bring relevant/related experience in capital markets, trade settlement, counterparty risk, etc, who have experience of the industry, and be able to understand the different processes and terms, and sorts of solutions/tech involved within this remit.

You will need :

  1. Extensive functional and technical knowledge of post trade processing, specifically collateral management, margining (IM and VM), and settlement, ideally gained at a market infrastructure (CSD, ICSD, custodian) or a large sell side or buy side institution.
  2. Exposure to triparty collateral management, collateral optimisation, and eligibility/substitution processes since this maps closely to the end clients Collateral Highway proposition.
  3. An asset servicing background, covering corporate actions, income processing, and the securities lifecycle events that interact with collateral positions, given asset servicing was specifically called out alongside funds experience.
  4. Funds industry knowledge, including how fund structures use collateral for derivatives exposure and liquidity management, since this was named explicitly as a requirement.

This role will be inside IR35 and will require 8 days a month on site in London with some European travel also very occassonally.
