Were hiring for one of the most strategic solution architecture gigs in the Australian payments landscape. Think card issuing, switching, acquiring, real-time payments and scheme certifications at enterprise scale. If you've been in the trenches of ISO 8583, Connex, and digital channel design, this ones for you.

What you'll own:

• Designing the target state architecture for a tier-1 card & payments platform

• Leading architecture across issuing, acquiring, switching & merchant services

• Powering digital experiences across eCommerce, real-time payments and omnichannel journeys

• Hands-on integration with Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay and gateways like CyberSource & MPGS

• Championing microservices, event-driven design, and cloud-native delivery (Azure/AWS)

• Ensuring certification-readiness, scalability, and bulletproof security

• Acting as the architecture SME across tech, business, and vendor teams

Your toolkit:

• 10+ years in solution architecture (payments, banking, switching)

• Connex expertise (or equivalent platform exposure)

• Fluency in ISO 8583, ISO 20022, AS2805, SWIFT

• Knowledge of tokenization, 3DS, EMV, and wallet ecosystems

• Real-world experience across Azure or AWS, containerisation, MQ, and APIs

• Strong communication chops and stakeholder finesse
