Solution Architect Consultant with Cloud (Azure or AWS)

You bring approximately 8+ years of commercial experience and hands-on expertise in solution design, cloud-native architectures, integration patterns, and modern software delivery practices. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and working closely with clients and engineering teams to deliver scalable business solutions.

- Strong hands-on software engineering background, ideally as a senior developer or technical lead, with the ability to guide application design and development rather than focusing primarily on platform, infrastructure, or networking engineering
- Experience in designing and building software solutions using modern architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS (preferable) or GCP
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD and Agile methodologies
- Expertise in enterprise architecture and integration patterns
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka, and containerization
- Understanding of NFRs including HA, DR, logging, and monitoring
- Broad IT knowledge including networking, security, and data management
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services environments
- Knowledge of domain driven design and event driven architecture
- Experience with data-focused architectures and patterns
