Position Context:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of a Solution Architect to join the Legal Operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing, evaluating, and integrating SaaS solutions to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and practices while aligning with business priorities and the wider Roche IT ecosystem

  • Lead and control cross-solution architecture design questions with developers, vendors, internal and external partners and design authorities.

  • Architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement and technical debt management

  • Research, evaluation, proof of concepts and adoption of new solutions

  • Designing non-functional requirements, screen vendor capabilities, and evaluate solution integration capabilities

  • Translating Business requirements into technical architecture. Creates and owns the Solution Architecture documentation

  • Seeking opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes

  • Partner with the Product team and the Enterprise Architect to establish a high-level solution intent to showcase product value for stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of relevant IT experience, designing and implementing technology solution

  • Expertise working with SaaS solutions and vendors

  • Practical experience with public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  • Experience with SaaS platforms (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.)

  • Knowledge of middleware architecture and ESB/EAI-based integration.

  • Experience creating architectural documentation (e.g. UML).

  • Expertise in multiple technology domains (e.g. Cloud, Automation, Data, AI)

  • Broad understanding of integration (middleware), security, infrastructure, DevOps layers, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams

  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and articulate a vision for one or more technology domains

  • Ability to understand the long-term („big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations

  • Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment

  • Demonstrated effective oral, written, public, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to frame complex issues and persuade a wide and diverse audience
