Solution Architect

Hiring Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mumbai, Pune, Noida, Gurugram, Indore and Kolkata.

Work Mode: Hybrid (location-specific office attendance policy applies).

Compensation: 40-50 LPA.

Role & responsibilities

• Define enterprise data architecture and design scalable Data Lake/Lakehouse platforms.
• Architect modern data ingestion pipelines for batch, streaming, APIs and third-party data.
• Design Bronze, Silver and Gold data layers, enterprise data models and semantic layers.
• Lead Azure Databricks implementations using Python and PySpark.
• Design and enable Microsoft Fabric and Power BI solutions for analytics, reporting and business intelligence.
• Architect AI/ML and GenAI solutions, including RAG-based applications and Vector Database integrations where applicable.
• Define cloud-native architecture, infrastructure scalability, security, networking, storage and identity management.
• Establish data governance, metadata management, data lineage, data quality and cataloging frameworks.
• Drive DevOps/MLOps practices, CI/CD automation, monitoring and production deployment of data and AI solutions.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, performance optimization, observability and cost efficiency.
• Partner with platform engineering, infrastructure, security and application teams to deliver resilient enterprise solutions.
• Engage senior business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into architecture roadmaps and implementation strategies.
• Ensure architecture alignment with enterprise governance, security and regulatory requirements.
• Leverage P&C insurance domain knowledge to support insurance business transformation and AI-driven use cases.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Azure Databricks, Python and PySpark.
• AI/ML and Generative AI (GenAI).
• Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Lake/Lakehouse and Data Modeling.
• Vector Databases and modern AI data architectures.
• DevOps/MLOps and CI/CD practices.
• Enterprise Solution Architecture and cloud platform design.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 15-20 years of experience in enterprise technology, architecture and digital transformation.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in cloud, data and AI initiatives at enterprise scale.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade AI-enabled platforms in the insurance industry.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Relevant Azure, cloud architecture, TOGAF, Kubernetes or AI/ML certifications.
• Exposure to digital transformation, ERP platforms and software testing is an added advantage.
