We're partnering with a leading Australian enterprise to appoint an experienced Solution Architect on an initial 6-month contract to support a range of strategic finance transformation initiatives.
Based in Sydney, this role will see you designing and driving architecture outcomes across critical finance platforms and reporting systems.
Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams, you'll be responsible for shaping scalable and high-performing solutions across financial consolidation, budgeting, management reporting, and cost allocation platforms.

Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams, you'll be responsible for shaping scalable and high-performing solutions across financial consolidation, budgeting, management reporting, and cost allocation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture and high-level solution design
- Define architecture standards, design decisions, and integration patterns
- Deliver architecture support across finance transformation programs
- Architect solutions for financial consolidation, statutory reporting, and allocation models
- Drive integration between finance systems, ERP platforms, and reporting environments
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance to delivery teams
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align solutions with strategic objectives
- 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect delivering enterprise-scale solutions
- Strong background within Finance Systems, Financial Consolidation, FP&A, and Reporting
- Experience designing complex application and integration architectures
- Strong knowledge of financial data flows, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and reconciliation patterns
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Experience in large enterprise, retail, supply chain, or fintech environments
- Exposure to modern CPM platforms such as OneStream or similar technologies
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks including TOGAF or SFIA
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline
