Solution Architect for a strategic IAM/IGA

Summary

Solution Architect for a strategic IAM/IGA transformation program, defining and validating solution designs for business role management, entitlement models, and system integration using One Identity (myAccess) and Nexis, with experience in SailPoint migration and large enterprise environments.

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect for a strategic IAM/IGA transformation program within our Insurance Business Unit. The focus of the program is the introduction of a group-wide business role model, the migration of existing SailPoint-based roles, and the phased rollout of a target platform based on One Identity (myAccess) and Nexis. We seek a professional who can define and validate solution designs bridging authorization concepts, entitlement models, and system integration across a large, complex international enterprise environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and validate solution designs for Business Role management, including data structures, integration requirements, entitlement models, governance controls, and operational procedures.

  • Assess existing authorization concepts, entitlements, organizational structures, and Business Roles across the group, including suitability of SailPoint-based roles for migration.

  • Design and validate Business Role management processes and workflows implemented in Nexis and integrated with myAccess (One Identity) and related systems.

  • Contribute to defining the target Business Role framework, including role design standards, lifecycle processes, approval workflows, and segregation-of-duties considerations.

  • Support integration testing, pilots, and rollout activities from an architecture perspective, ensuring designs hold up through dry-runs, pre-pilots, and production rollout.

  • Produce and maintain solution design documentation, implementation concepts, and architecture-related project deliverables.

  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Requirements Engineers, Test Managers, and the existing core project team (including internal solution and security architecture capabilities).

  • Provide recommendations on Business Role governance, migration approaches, and operating model design, based on experience from comparable Business Role Management and Identity Governance implementations.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex IAM, IGA, or Access Management transformation programs.

  • Strong understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) architecture, entitlement models, and role-based access design.

  • Experience designing solutions that integrate with One Identity, SailPoint, or comparable IGA platforms.

  • Experience in large-scale migration or rollout programs within international enterprise environments.

  • Ability to define governance controls, data structures, and integration requirements at the solution-design level.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Professional-level English; German language nice to have

Nice to Have:

  • Direct experience with Nexis for Business Role and Application Access Rights management.

  • Experience in the insurance or financial services sector, or other regulated industries.

  • Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and compliance-driven access governance.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft AD, SAP, Azure DevOps, and Power BI in an enterprise IGA context.

Other Details:

Contract: B2B

Start Date: 01.10.2026
Duration: until 30.06.2028 (capacity expected at less than 1 FTE, adjusted to project phase needs)
