About the role
The Commercial Solution Architect is a hands-on architecture role within Digital & Technology (D&T), accountable for designing end-to-end solution architectures for Commercial capabilities, ensuring solutions are implementable, secure, scalable, and aligned with domain and enterprise standards.
Working under the Commercial Domain Architect, the role translates target architecture, standards and guardrails into practical solution designs that delivery teams can build, deploy and operate. The role partners closely with Commercial stakeholders, Product Managers/Owners, engineering, data and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with both business priorities and the broader enterprise architecture direction, including Haleon’s Salesforce-centred Commercial ecosystem.
While a strong technology foundation is important, this is not a specialist platform architecture role focused on a single technology stack. We are looking for an architect who can bridge business and technology, understand commercial objectives, shape solution direction with stakeholders, and translate business needs into pragmatic, scalable and sustainable solutions.
The role works closely with Commercial leaders, Product teams and global stakeholders, making it ideal for architects who enjoy balancing business priorities, architecture governance and delivery execution in a complex international environment.
