Solution Architect, Hospital Deployment

Posted Updated
Discussion

Description

▎Lead technical architecture for hospital deployments: work with hospital IT departments and clinical units to define integration scope, migration paths, and acceptance criteria.
▎Assess incumbent hospital systems (HIS, EMR, RIS/PACS, LIS) and design integration approaches that do not disrupt existing clinical operations.
▎Translate clinical and business needs into technical designs, and communicate architecture trade-offs to both executive and clinical audiences.
▎Design on-premises, hybrid, and cloud deployment topologies appropriate to each hospital's infrastructure and data-residency constraints.
▎Define data migration strategy for legacy clinical and imaging data, including validation and cutover planning.
▎Own the technical relationship through deployment: lead workshops, resolve integration issues, and coordinate with internal engineering.
▎Support pre-sales activities including technical presentations, proposals, solution sizing, and customer workshops.
▎Feed field findings back into the product roadmap and internal architecture standards.

【BASIC QUALIFICATIONS】
▎6+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or technical consulting, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end solution design.
▎Currently hands-on: you have personally written, reviewed, or debugged production code within the last 12 months.
▎Experience leading a customer-site technical engagement as the sole technical representative — scoping, specifying, and resolving issues on the spot.
▎3+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare IT, hospital information systems, medical imaging, or clinical data integration (counted separately from the above).
▎Proven experience integrating heterogeneous clinical systems in a live hospital or health-system environment.
▎Working expertise in healthcare interoperability standards: HL7 v2, FHIR, and DICOM.
▎Experience designing deployments across on-premises virtualized infrastructure (VMware, Proxmox, KVM) and public cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
▎Experience with data migration planning and execution, including validation and cutover strategy.
▎Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions with hospital IT departments, clinical stakeholders, and executive audiences, and to influence without formal authority.
▎Strong documentation practices: solution design documents, integration specifications, and acceptance criteria.
▎Professional working proficiency in English — spoken and written — for international vendor engagement, standards-body participation, and technical documentation.
▎Fluent Mandarin Chinese, including the ability to present and negotiate with hospital IT departments, clinical stakeholders, and executive audiences.
▎Willingness to travel to hospital sites within Taiwan.
▎Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
