Job Summary

The Solution Architect will lead the design and architecture of the Robotics Identity and Access Management (RIAM) system, applying expertise in national-scale identity platforms and security frameworks to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design the Robotics Identity and Access Management (RIAM) system to meet national-scale identity platform standards
  • Define and implement security architecture, access control frameworks, and integration patterns for RIAM to ensure robust protection
  • Lead the overall RIAM platform design and specify interfaces to enable seamless system interoperability
  • Collaborate with Robotics Subject Matter Experts to incorporate security design requirements specific to robotics systems
  • Establish governed access patterns and embed appropriate access controls and audit logging within the architecture to maintain compliance
  • Document all key architectural and design decisions with clear rationale and trade-offs to support transparency and future reference
  • Transfer architecture and design capabilities progressively to internal team members through close collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors and stakeholders to align architecture with complex, multi-party programme requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects in government or highly regulated environments
  • Familiarity with robotics or IoT system integration requirements
