Solution Architect
Summary
Designs and delivers end-to-end cloud-based enterprise solutions for Infor’s government-focused cloud suites, leveraging AI, APIs, and automation to solve customer pain points.
With the new FDE model we need solution architects with experience across cloud suites , infor os and implementation experience. We are expecting the customers to stick with infor and use velocity for multiple problem statements.
- Designs, documents, and delivers end-to-end solution architectures that address customer pain points and translate business needs into scalable, practical technical solutions.
- Leads architectural discussions with clients and internal stakeholders, presenting solution options, trade-offs, and business value to executive, functional, and technical audiences.
- Defines the solution approach, identifies the critical path, and develops pragmatic delivery plans that enable quick validation, rapid prototyping, and accelerated customer outcomes
- Decomposes complex problems into manageable components for communication at both business and technical levels
- Analyzes customer pain points, current-state processes, and business objectives to identify high-value FDE opportunities, solution hypotheses, and prototype candidates.
- Works as an offshore Solution Architect within the FDE team, partnering closely with customer-facing teams, product teams, and delivery teams to shape and execute solution blueprints.
- Uses modern productivity and AI-assisted engineering tools such as Kiro, Claude, and similar platforms to accelerate discovery, solution design, coding, prototyping, documentation, and delivery.
- Mentors FDE team members in architecture thinking, prototype development, engineering best practices, reusable accelerators, and building best-in-class customer solutions.
- A bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree is required. Degree in the field of technology preferred.
- Experience of at least 15 years in industry vertical
- Experience of at least 10 years in solution architecture, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, integrations, workflow automation, or related technology domains.
- Strong experience architecting cloud-based solutions, including AI, generative AI, integration services, workflow orchestration, APIs, data flows, security, scalability, and operational readiness.
- Direct product experience with at least one Infor Cloud Suites, data structures, APIs, extension points, integration patterns, and enterprise delivery models is strongly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent environments, with familiarity in data governance, security, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and data sovereignty requirements.
- Scripting, automation, and data manipulation skills such as Python, SQL, APIs, workflow tooling, or low-code automation for accelerator development and AI-assisted solution delivery.
- Prior experience with GovCloud or public-sector engagements requiring data sovereignty compliance.
