Primary Skills

• Minimum 14 years of Mainframe IT Infrastructure Services experience required.

• Experience in designing and architecting IBM Mainframe solutions.
• Preferably worked as a Mainframe Solution Architect or Pre-Sales Solution Architect at major IT service or consulting firms.

• Experience with all stages of Datacenter projects, including Design, Build, and Run, is essential, especially for Datacenter migrations involving Mainframe platforms.
• This role involves collaborating with sales, presales, and account teams to identify opportunities and develop effective solutions.

• Should be able to design and provide solutions for comprehensive Mainframe modernization, with a particular emphasis on infrastructure.
• Capable of creating a transformative roadmap for the client's Mainframe environment.
• Will take a leading role in presenting solutions to clients, so strong communication skills and experience with CXO-level interactions are required.
• Able to lead client discussions and collaborate to develop the best strategy and roadmap for Mainframe legacy architecture—guiding clients through their Mainframe modernization process.
• Experience delivering Mainframe infrastructure projects is an asset.

Secondary Skills

• Having experience with IBM i (AS400/iSeries) and working in AIX environments is considered beneficial.
• Familiarity with midrange cloud solutions like Skytap and IBM PowerVS is also helpful.
