Lime Recruitment is currently working with a major client to recruit an experienced Solution Architect - NAAS Product and Platform. In this role, you will support the National Automated Access System (NAAS) Product Manager by providing focused solution architecture advice, documentation, and design control across the NAAS product and platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Document and maintain current and target NAAS solution architecture, including context views, data flows, integration views, and architecture decision records.
Provide design impact assessments for material changes across business processes, spatial/data requirements, application components, integrations, and supportability.
Support the Product Manager with architecture advice regarding core product integrity, release scope, roadmap implications, and feature trade-offs.
Assess jurisdiction-specific requests against the NAAS core product, state-level configurations, and long-term supportability.
Define and maintain application and integration architecture across portals (Road User, Road Manager, Admin), assessment modules, maps, route cards, and APIs.
Collaborate with the Technical Lead and Data/Spatial Lead to establish architecture principles, guardrails, non-functional requirements, and spatial data flow controls.
Ensure solution designs support explainable, auditable automated access decision-making and support operational readiness for BAU transitions.
About You:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect or senior design lead on complex ICT, digital, spatial, data, or enterprise integration programs.
Ability to produce clear architecture artefacts, decision records, and impact assessments while establishing lightweight governance.
Experience supporting product managers with release shaping, roadmap strategy, and balancing core product integrity against customer-specific requirements.
Strong understanding of business/data/spatial architecture, application integration (APIs, portals, rules engines), and technology guardrails (cloud, security, IAM, performance).
Background in government, transport, heavy vehicle access, spatial/GIS platforms, or multi-jurisdictional systems, alongside TOGAF or Cloud certifications.
