Solution Architect - Manchester
Salary: £95,000 - 95,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong hands-on software engineering background
- Experience leading engineering teams delivering applications and services
- Proven solution architecture experience
- Strong understanding and practical application of architecture and delivery methodologies
- Ability to operate across architectural domains, with deeper expertise in at least one area
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Confident working with multiple technical and business stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Experience may include cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience may include architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman or MODAF
- Experience may include delivery approaches such as SAFe, Scrum or Kanban
- Experience may include modelling tools and methods such as UML, ArchiMate or Ardoq
- Experience may include wider platforms including Oracle, IBM and Salesforce
- Create and assure key architecture artefacts, including High-Level Designs, Technical Options Papers and key design decisions
- Work closely with engineering teams, often acting as the lead technical SME
- Define technical vision and establish architectural guardrails
- Support senior stakeholders with cases for change, cost estimation and detailed planning
- Work across multiple architectural domains, including Business, Data, Application, Technology and Security

We are a leading technology and consulting environment working on complex transformation programmes across a variety of sectors. This is a Solution Architect role based in London with a hybrid working pattern of approximately two days per week in the office.
