In Bratislava, within the Banking industry, we are actively seeking a Senior Solution Architect to strengthen our team. You will join a team responsible for the architecture and continuous development of a modern, cloud-based Payment Solution built from scratch and operated using DevSecOps practices.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and efficient technical solutions, working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to shape the future of the payment gateway.

This is you

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or similar senior technical role, ideally within banking, payments, or other regulated environments.

• Strong experience with cloud-based and distributed architectures, with a focus on scalability, availability, security, and performance.

• Ability to translate business and functional requirements into clear technical and implementation specifications.

• Strong understanding of non-functional requirements, architectural patterns, integration principles, and API design.

• Experience with DevSecOps practices and secure-by-design principles.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate technical discussions and make sound architectural decisions.

• Experience working with external vendors and international teams is an advantage.

• Experience with security and regulatory requirements in the financial or banking sector is a strong advantage.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of architectural topics.

• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

This is your role

• Own and contribute to the overall architecture and design of the payment gateway, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and efficiency.

• Define and maintain technical standards, architecture principles, and best practices, and ensure their adoption across the solution.

• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and developers to refine requirements and translate them into secure and compliant technical solutions.

• Define and document non-functional requirements, architectural decisions, solution designs, and architecture diagrams.

• Analyze and evaluate third-party integrations and APIs and provide technical guidance for new and existing integrations.

• Facilitate technical reviews, architectural discussions, technology decisions, and troubleshooting with development teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

• Conduct technical and security risk assessments, identify potential vulnerabilities, and propose appropriate mitigation measures.

• Continuously evaluate the technology landscape and propose improvements that support the long-term evolution of the payment gateway.

• The basic salary component from 3 200 EUR gross per month - the exact amount of the salary depends on the actual knowledge and experience, qualifications and expertise of the candidate.
