We're looking for a Solution Architect to join our growing U.S. team in Detroit. This is more than a traditional customer-facing role: you'll combine customer engagement with technical product analysis and domain expertise, turning customer insights into innovative solutions that shape the next of digital road infrastructure.

Your role and team

As a Solution Architect, you are the primary technical point of contact for our customers, responsible for their long-term success with our connected product portfolio. You'll understand their challenges, design solutions that maximize the value of our platform, and bridge customer needs and product development.

You'll join a team of Customer Success Managers and Solution Architects, working closely with developers, product managers, and sales & business development teams. The role includes occasional travel to customer sites and industry events across North America, with some international travel.

Your key responsibilities

- Support customers through onboarding, use-case analysis, solution design, training, and ongoing guidance on our products, dashboards, and analytics tools.
- Translate customer requirements into technical solution architectures and manage related commercial administration.
- Keep customers informed about the product roadmap, new features, and best practices.
- Streamline deliveries and reduce manual work to continuously improve customer processes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Data Scientists in an agile environment.

Required qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in road infrastructure, road asset management, pavement management, or transportation systems.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

qualifications

- Experience with Python and SQL.
- Strong understanding of road engineering principles and infrastructure maintenance processes.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development or coding tools.
- Existing relationships with U.S. state DOTs, municipalities, or automotive OEMs a plus.
