We're looking for a Solution Architect – SAP Business Technology Platform to join our team in Portugal in a remote working mode. In this role, you will design and govern enterprise-grade SAP BTP solutions that enable innovation, integration, automation, and AI-driven transformation. You will define platform standards, establish architectural governance, and ensure enterprise scalability, security, and compliance. This position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge SAP technologies that support Clean Core strategies and accelerate digital transformation for global businesses.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP BTP services, governance models, and best practices
- Define BTP reference architecture and operating model
- Architect global account and multi-subaccount strategies, including tenant landscapes
- Design solution architectures aligned with Clean Core principles
- Define API-first and event-driven architectures for SAP and hybrid environments
- Lead SAP Integration Suite strategy and API Management patterns
- Establish integration governance and reusable design patterns for B2B and event-based scenarios
- Define architecture for AI enablement and Generative AI integration using SAP AI Core and Joule
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps models for SAP BTP projects
- Ensure compliance, security, and monitoring through robust frameworks and guardrails
Requirements
- Proven experience in SAP BTP architecture and solution design
- Advanced knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build Work Zone, Apps, and Process Automation
- Strong experience with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Event Mesh, SAP AI Core/AI Launchpad
- Hands-on proficiency with CAP/CDS, Node.js, Java, ABAP Cloud (RAP), SAP Fiori, OData, and REST APIs
- Familiarity with Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtimes, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Expertise in CI/CD and DevSecOps practices using GitHub and Azure DevOps
- Strong background in SAP BTP security concepts, identity services (IAS, IPS), and OAuth2/SAML/OpenID connect
- Knowledge of enterprise, solution, and integration architecture patterns including microservices, API management, and event-driven design
Nice to have
- SAP Cloud ALM experience
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public and Private), SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- SAP and cloud-related certifications such as SAP Enterprise Architect, SAP BTP, TOGAF, or Azure/AWS architect certifications
