Solution Architect - SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
We're looking for a Solution Architect – SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to join our team in Portugal in a remote working mode. In this role, you will lead enterprise-wide business and technology transformation initiatives leveraging SAP’s cloud ERP portfolio. You will define target architectures, Clean Core strategies, and extensibility approaches to ensure compliance with SAP’s upgrade-safe principles while supporting large-scale integration, innovation, and process standardization programs. This position offers the opportunity to design secure, future-proof SAP landscapes and help organizations maximize value from their cloud adoption journey.
Responsibilities
- Define target architecture for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and SAP Activate methodology execution
- Drive Clean Core adoption strategies and governance models
- Define extensibility and integration principles aligned with SAP best practices
- Design side-by-side extension architecture on SAP BTP using released APIs and extension points
- Lead business process standardization and transformation initiatives
- Develop SAP BTP adoption and innovation roadmaps
- Establish governance for upgrades, extensibility, and security compliance
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, stakeholders, and executive leadership teams
- Support RISE with SAP programs and ensure alignment with SAP’s cloud strategy
Requirements
- Proven experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions
- Strong background in SAP ERP and SAP best practices
- Expertise in SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard design workshops
- Hands-on experience with Clean Core principles, extensibility frameworks, and BTP Integration Suite
- Familiarity with SAP Central Business Configuration and extensibility options (key-user, developer, side-by-side)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture patterns for cloud ERP
- Understanding of transformation tools like SAP Signavio and LeanIX
- Ability to design secure, scalable, and upgrade-compliant SAP landscapes
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP BTP services, Joule, and AI Foundation
- Familiarity with SAP Build, automation tools, and SAP Cloud ALM
- Participation in RISE with SAP and enterprise transformation programs
