We're partnering with one of Australia's most iconic organisations as they undertake a major architecture-led ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB uplift. This is a rare opportunity for a senior Solution Architect to walk into an established, enterprise-scale environment, define what "good" looks like, and build the foundational architecture for a secure, scalable, governance-led CMDB capability supporting strategic outcomes across the Group.
You won't just be delivering to a spec - you'll be writing it. Expect to build and present a transformation roadmap with clear options to senior leadership, working across cyber, architecture, cloud, risk and CMDB stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern CMDB data structures, service hierarchies and asset models
- Establish standards for asset tiering, lifecycle management and Minimum Viable Service (MVS)
- Develop architecture patterns and guardrails for CMDB growth and adoption
- Provide solution design oversight as Discovery expands across the environment
- Govern onboarding of additional data sources into a CSDM-aligned CMDB
- Support integration of cyber security scanning platforms and other strategic technology data sources
- Work closely with platform, infrastructure, cyber and service management teams to ensure alignment and consistency
- Proven Solution Architecture experience delivering ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB initiatives
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB and CSDM frameworks
- Experience designing secure enterprise architectures in complex, regulated environments
- Experience integrating infrastructure, cyber and operational data sources into enterprise platforms
