Solution Architect Specialist Banking

About the role

At Grupo NS, we are incorporating a Solution Architect Specialist to participate in a long-term project in the banking sector, contributing to the evolution of technological architecture, platform modernization, and the optimization of the application ecosystem.

We are looking for a senior profile with strategic and technical vision, capable of analyzing existing architectures, identifying improvement opportunities, and defining solutions aligned with business objectives and the organization's technological needs.

We are looking for a senior, analytical, and autonomous professional, with the ability to combine strategic vision and technical knowledge.

It will be important to have communication skills, the ability to coordinate with different stakeholders, and the judgment to evaluate architectural solutions in complex environments.

What you'll do

What will you do?

• Define and evolve the solutions architecture within the banking environment.
• Analyze the current architecture (Target Architecture) and contribute to the definition of the target architecture.
• Participate in Application Landscape Rationalization initiatives, identifying opportunities for simplification, consolidation, and optimization of the application catalog.
• Design and support Platform Modernization initiatives, promoting the evolution of technological platforms.
• Evaluate architectural alternatives and propose solutions aligned with the technological strategy and business objectives.
• Analyze dependencies between applications, platforms, and systems to facilitate decision-making.
• Collaborate with technical teams, architecture managers, and business areas to define viable, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
• Prepare and validate architectural documentation, standards, and technical proposals.
• Contribute to the evaluation of market solutions and the analysis of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

What we're looking for

• Professional experience of between 7 and 10 years or more in technological architecture, solutions architecture, or similar roles.
• Experience in the Banking sector, with knowledge of its technological environments and business needs.
• Experience in solutions architecture (Solution Architecture).
• Solid knowledge of:
• CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking).
• Target Architecture.
• Application Landscape Rationalization.
• Platform Modernization.
• Ability to analyze complex architectures, evaluate alternatives, and define technological evolution proposals.
• Global vision of systems and ability to work with different teams and stakeholders.
• University education.
• English level B2, necessary to operate in a professional environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the evaluation and implementation of market solutions.
• Knowledge of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and comparative cost analysis of technological solutions.
• Experience in architecture transformation and modernization initiatives in financial entities.
• Ability to identify opportunities for optimization, rationalization, and technological efficiency.
