Design and own production-grade .NET/C# software architecture, leading technical decisions and cloud strategies on AWS/Azure. The role involves defining domain boundaries, ensuring high availability, and driving architectural modernization for distributed systems.
- Design and own production-grade software architecture across teams
- Lead technical decision-making and guide architectural direction for the system
- Define service and domain boundaries, communication patterns, data ownership, and integration contracts
- Architect for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery in a cloud environment
- Evaluate architectural patterns and trade-offs
- Drive cloud architecture decisions on AWS, including cost optimization and cloud-native design
- Partner with stakeholders across teams to align architecture with business and technical needs
- Support architecture modernization or migration initiatives where relevant
- 7+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years with .NET/C#
- Proven experience designing production systems and leading technical decisions across teams
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and patterns (microservices, event-driven architecture, DDD, CQRS, Clean/Hexagonal Architecture, and similar)
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including core services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, IAM, VPC, and similar)
- Solid understanding of high availability, multi-AZ architecture, disaster recovery, scalability, cost optimization, and serverless/cloud-native design
- Advanced skills in using AI for research, prototyping, and building artifacts
- Experience with government ERP/accounting systems would be a plus
- Strong communication skills, B2 level of English or higher
