Solution Consultant (Infrastructure & Cloud)

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to understand business objectives and technical requirements

• Design and recommend infrastructure, network, security, and cloud solutions aligned to customer needs

• Support sales activities including customer presentations, solution demonstrations, PoCs, and proposal preparation

• Prepare solution architectures, technical proposals, bill of materials, and sizing recommendations

• Participate in project implementation, migration, upgrade, and troubleshooting activities

• Deploy and configure infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and networking platforms

• Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful customer outcomes

• Stay current with emerging technologies, vendor roadmaps, and industry best practices

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines

• Experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, system integration, or technical consulting

• Basic knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory

  • Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)

  • Enterprise Storage and Backup Solutions

  • LAN/WAN, Switching, Routing, Wireless and Security Fundamentals

  • Public Cloud Platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or similar)

• Hands-on implementation experience is an advantage

• Presales, customer presentation, PoC, or proposal preparation experience is preferred

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus)

• Relevant certifications are advantageous, including:

  • Infrastructure and virtualization (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, HPE, Nutanix)

  • Networking and security (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, CompTIA Security+, CISSP)

  • Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Associate Consultant position
