Solution Consultant (Up to $8000 base + AWS + PB)
Summary
A pre-sales solution consultant role focused on enterprise networking and cybersecurity: the person engages clients to gather requirements, designs solutions (firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, switching, routing, wireless, NAC, endpoint security), prepares proposals and BOQs, and delivers demos and POCs in support of sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Engage clients to understand network, security or cybersecurity requirements.
Design solutions across switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, NAC, and endpoint security.
Prepare proposals, BOQs, and architecture diagrams.
Deliver product demos and support POCs.
Work with sales and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover.
Stay updated on vendor technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking or cybersecurity.
- (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SD-WAN, switching, routing, wireless.)
- Experience preparing technical proposals and solution designs.
- Able to present to clients and simplify technical concepts.
- Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/NSE/PCNSE are an advantage.
- Consultative communication, good documentation skills.
