The Opportunity

We are looking for a Solution Engineer - Build to Rent who will be responsible for configuring, supporting and improving the digital solutions that enable Mirvac's BTR leasing, onboarding and resident experiences.

Working within the Customer Platforms team, the role combines hands - on platform configuration, integration delivery, operational support and continuous improvement.

The role supports solutions across the BTR technology ecosystem, including StarRez, Workato, SDD and customer - facing applications, contributing to platform enhancements, integrations, automation and resident experience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

StarRez & BTR Platform Support

• Configure, maintain and support the StarRez platform, including PortalX and StarRezWeb.
• Build and update forms, workflows, notifications and customer - facing processes that support leasing, onboarding and resident services.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, investigate defects and support resolution of incidents and data issues.
• Maintain platform configuration, documentation and support procedures.

Customer Platforms & Integrations

• Support and enhance integrations between StarRez and other customer platforms using tools such as Workato and SDD.
• Assist with the configuration, testing and deployment of integration and automation solutions.
• Monitor integration performance and investigate processing errors or data issues.
• Support data flows across customer, resident, marketing and operational platforms.

Digital Experience Delivery

• Contribute to customer - facing digital solutions, including Mirvac's resident applications and web experiences.
• Support the integration of StarRez and other customer platforms into digital products.
• Participate in testing, releases and production support activities.
• Help improve customer and resident journeys through platform enhancements and automation.

Delivery & Operations

• Work with business and technology teams to deliver platform enhancements and operational improvements.
• Prepare system configurations, test evidence and deployment documentation.
• Support user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
• Contribute to platform maintenance, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You are an experienced Software Engineer with 5+ years' experience.

You'll have:

• Experience as a solution engineer, applications engineer, technical consultant or similar hands - on role supporting integrated digital platforms.
• Experience configuring and supporting SaaS or operational platforms, with the ability to learn StarRez and the BTR domain quickly.
• Experience delivering or supporting integrations using APIs, webhooks, events, middleware or integration platforms.
• Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, customer engagement or digital channel platforms.
• Exposure to customer - facing web or mobile applications built with React or a comparable modern JavaScript framework.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues across application, integration and data layers.
• Experience working in product - centric or agile teams with business and technology stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, data mapping, integration monitoring and error handling.
• Understanding of customer identity, consent, preferences, marketing audiences and cross - channel communications.
• Ability to understand operational processes and translate them into maintainable platform and integration designs.
• Ability to read and contribute to React - based application code, or the technical foundation to build this capability.
• Hands - on experience with StarRez, PortalX or StarRezWeb (desired)
• Experience in Build to Rent, property, leasing, accommodation, hospitality or resident services. (desired)
