Our client is a leading organization in the higher education sector, seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join its IT Department.

Job Overview

The Solution Engineer will drive infrastructure automation and AI initiatives while managing IT infrastructure, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring system reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify manual IT processes and implement automation and AI solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows and scripts.
• Administer servers, networks, storage, and cloud/on-premises infrastructure.
• Monitor system health, security, and performance.
• Respond to incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Manage identity and access controls, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Support infrastructure upgrades and ensure high availability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from a recognized university/institution.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience or 6 years of overall relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Assistant Manager, Supervisory, or Lead role.
• Hands-on experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud/hybrid infrastructure, and identity & access management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced IT environment.
