Solution Engineer (Mechanical Design Engineer)

About the role

MARLEX needs to recruit for an important multinational leader in innovation and technology in industrial automation and digitalization, a Solution Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer to participate in the development and design of technical engineering solutions adapted to customer requirements.

The selected person will temporarily join an engineering team, participating in the design, development, configuration, and integration of technical solutions, ensuring they meet the functional requirements and specifications agreed upon with the client.

What you'll do

Design and develop detailed technical solutions, defining the components, products, and systems necessary to satisfy project requirements. The position will have a key role in the integration of the different elements, ensuring their correct functioning as a complete solution, as well as in the preparation of technical documentation and coordination with the teams involved in its execution.

• Design and develop detailed technical solutions, adapted to the requirements and specifications defined by the client.
• Define the products, components, and systems that will be used in each solution, establishing their technical characteristics.
• Design and configure components and systems according to the functional and technical requirements of the project.
• Develop integration solutions that guarantee the correct interaction between the different elements and their joint operation.
• Verify that the designed solutions meet the required functionality and established specifications.
• Prepare, update, and maintain the technical and design documentation necessary for the execution of the projects.
• Collaborate with the different teams involved to guarantee technical viability and the correct implementation of the solutions.
• Coordinate with the manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics areas to facilitate the execution of the designed solutions.
• Provide technical support during the different phases of the project, contributing to the resolution of incidents and the fulfillment of established requirements.

What we're looking for

• Technical or university training related to Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electronics, Electricity, Systems, or similar technical areas.
• Minimum experience of 2 years in mechanical design.
• Essential proficiency in AutoCAD (Autodesk) and Solid Edge (Siemens).
• Knowledge of design and engineering of technical solutions, as well as the selection and configuration of components and systems.
• Ability to interpret technical and functional requirements and transform them into concrete solutions.
• Knowledge of systems integration and understanding of the interaction between the different components of a solution.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, data sheets, and technical engineering documentation.
• Minimum written English level B1-B2, necessary to understand technical documentation, blueprints, data sheets, and engineering specifications.
• Availability for occasional travel.
• Analytical capacity, attention to detail, and orientation toward problem-solving.
• Communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with different technical and functional areas.
• Autonomy, organization, and orientation toward meeting requirements and deadlines.

What you'll get

• Temporary contract of 6 months + 6 months (maximum 12 months).
• Gross annual salary: €45,000 in 12 monthly payments + meal allowance and teleworking aid.
• Work model with more than 80% teleworking.
• Reference location: Tres Cantos (Madrid).
