Solution Implementation Engineer
Summary
Presales/post-sales solution engineer supporting international customers of Kaspersky's security platform (EDR, XDR, SIEM, NDR): technical consulting, sizing, deployment and troubleshooting assistance, plus building and maintaining integrations between the XDR platform and third-party tools (ITSM, SOAR, firewalls, email gateways). Centers on Linux, Kubernetes and scripting.
Kaspersky is looking for a seasoned professional in abovementioned field to drive solution related presales & post-sales activities for international customers.
The role is responsible for technical consulting regarding the solution, building relationship with Customers and Partners together with regional technical experts (presales, support).
Duties
- Work closely with HQ Product Team including RnD and Product Managers;
- Support technical presales and post-sale activities in Accounts – preparing sizing, assistance in deployments/troubleshooting;
- Build relationships in regional cybersecurity community in main area of responsibility;
- Act as Solution expert for platform-based products – EDR, SIEM, XDR, NDR;
- Product enhancement (provide feedback to RnD and drive issue resolutions, turn recurring customer requests and troubleshooting patterns into reusable tooling);
- Design, develop and maintain integrations between the XDR platform and third-party products (ticketing/ITSM, SOAR, TIP, firewalls, identity, email gateways, messengers, etc.).
Experience, Skills and Competencies
- 3+ year in presales/support/deployment;
- Experience in administration of Windows/Linux based networks;
- Good knowledge of Linux OS sufficient enough to do deployment and troubleshooting;
- K8s on CKA level or similar level of experience(OpenShift or any other similar containers technology);
- Practical programming/scripting experience, with the ability to build and maintain production-grade integrations.
- Practical experience in 4+ areas from the list below:
- PGSQL, ClickHouse, SQLite;
- VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Prometheus;
- NATS/Kafka;
- LDAP, Kerberos, OIDC/oAuth;
- HashiCorp Vault, OpenBao;
- Ansible, Helm, CNAB;
- Nginx, HAProxy, Envoy;
- S3, NFS, Samba;
- Promtail, LogStash, Vector etc;
- Clouds (IaaS/PaaS) like Huawei, AWS, Azure etc;
- HW specifics like RAID, SATA vs NVMe.
- At least basic understanding of Cyber security in general;
- Communication and presentation skills;
- English Upper Intermediate.
Preferred Requirements:
- Good Knowledge of Advanced CyberSecurity Solutions (SIEM, XDR, EDR, NDR).
