Join us in this role where you’ll define the architecture and technology direction for physical security solutions across Ørsted. You’ll connect security technologies, compliance requirements, and stakeholder needs to help protect our offices, assets, wind farms, substations, and other critical infrastructure.
Welcome to Infrastructure Architecture
You’ll be part of Infrastructure Architecture where you, together with your colleagues, will set the architectural direction for core infrastructure domains across Ørsted. In this role, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders, security specialists, architects, and delivery teams to shape physical security solutions that are secure, compliant, and fit for purpose.

You’ll play an important role in:
defining the architectural direction for physical security solutions, including access control, card readers, CCTV, monitoring, perimeter security, and security technologies for critical assets
translating business, regulatory, and security requirements into clear solution designs and technology recommendations
working with stakeholders across the business to understand needs, challenge assumptions, and guide decisions with confidence and care
ensuring that physical security solutions support critical infrastructure protection, compliance expectations, and operational resilience
collaborating with security, OT, IT, architecture, real estate, and operational teams to align physical security technologies across locations and assets
supporting the development of a stronger, more structured, and more business-aligned physical security capability.
To succeed in the role, you:
have experience working with physical security, cyber-physical security, critical infrastructure, enterprise security, or a related technology domain
understand physical security technologies such as access control systems, card readers, CCTV, video management platforms, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection solutions
bring knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as NIS2, IEC 62443, NIST, NERC-CIP, ISO 27002, or similar standards relevant to critical infrastructure environments
have experience translating security, regulatory, and business requirements into practical technology solutions and architectural recommendations
can collaborate effectively across business and technology teams, building trusted relationships with stakeholders while providing clear guidance on security-related decisions
communicate complex technical topics in a clear and engaging manner and are comfortable influencing decisions across diverse stakeholder groups
have a completed degree within IT, cyber security, engineering, security management, or equivalent experience.

Position salary range:
For this role, the base pay will be determined according to the relevant pay structure for the location where the position is filled. Actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and the expected role fulfilment to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package. Pay details specific to your location will be provided during the interview process.
