Solutions Architect
Description
Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in software, data or cloud, or a relevant internship, will be given special consideration. Fresh Grads also welcome.
eCloudvalley Thailand is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, an authorised reseller of Anthropic (Claude), and part of the OpenAI Partner Network, working across eight countries in Asia. This role sits at the front of where we are going: building AI applications on Amazon Bedrock with Claude, OpenAI and whichever model fits the problem - for real customers, from your first year, not in a sandbox.
Our customers include banks, hospitals, government agencies, manufacturers and logistics operators. The problems are real, the systems are live, and you will be in the room.
Responsibilities
You will start alongside a senior Solutions Architect and take on your own work as you grow. We expect you to run the following independently within three to six months.
Build proof-of-concepts on Amazon Bedrock and with frontier models from Anthropic and OpenAI - chatbots, RAG over customer documents, agents, document and vision workloads.
Write applications and integrations around those models - APIs, data pipelines, and the glue that makes a demo into something a customer can use.
Help customers judge which use cases genuinely need an LLM, and which model actually fits. Saying "this does not need AI" is part of the job, and so is knowing where one model beats another.
Work out what a solution costs and what it is worth - AWS Pricing Calculator estimates and basic TCO. Your numbers must match the architecture.
Support AI governance work - controlling usage, cost, data exposure and access.
Prepare AWS funding submissions (MAP, modernisation assessments) for senior review.
Run customer workshops and enablement sessions. Teaching customers to use what we build is a real part of the work.
Answer first-line technical questions from customers, and know when to escalate.
What we expect you to have
These five are what we screen on. You do not need to tick every box below them.
A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
You can write code in at least one language, ideally Python, and comfort with REST APIs and JSON. You do not need to be an expert - you need to be able to build something and read someone else's code.
A grasp of data. You can write SQL, and you understand how data is structured and moved. Every AI project we run stands on the customer's data - this is the one fundamental that does not become optional.
Curiosity you have acted on. You have tried building something with an LLM - a chatbot, a RAG demo, an agent, a class project, anything. We care that you have tried, not that it was good.
Clear communication in Thai with customers, and confident reading of English technical documentation.
Two things that matter more than any tool
You can explain something difficult to someone who is not technical. Sitting across from a customer is the job.
You can write a document that lets someone else make a decision. Proposals, funding submissions and test criteria are half of this role.
Nice to have - not required
Any hands-on AWS experience, including personal or university projects
Linux and networking basics - you will pick these up here, but a head start helps
Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
Front-end work, or anything you have shipped end to end
An internship in software, data or IT, or any certification you already hold
