Solutions Architect

You will act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers across MENA. You will lead discovery, demonstrations, solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, and technical tender activities. You will advise customers on DevSecOps, software delivery, security, cloud, and AI practices; partner with account teams on account strategies; and share customer feedback and insights with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation activities.
• Drive technical evaluations, including solution design, proof-of-concept and proof-of-value ownership, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams on account strategies.
• Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders.
• Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
• Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
• Maintain expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies.
• Create reusable examples, best-practice guidance, and technical collateral for customers and partners.
• Pursue ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of customer-facing technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar experience.
• Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, DevSecOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, deployment, security, and operations.
• Ability to lead proofs of concept or value, contribute to tenders or audits, and run workshops or value stream assessments.
• Technical communication and presentation skills for practitioner through senior decision-maker audiences.
• Ability to build trusted customer relationships and act as a customer advocate.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and deepen GitLab platform expertise.
