Salary: No Admin/Contractor Fees

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Technology Solution Architect to provide technical leadership across a major ICT transformation program. The role will be responsible for designing and governing scalable, secure technology solutions across intelligence, analytics, data integration, reporting and AI-enabled capabilities.
Working closely with project teams, architects, technical specialists and senior stakeholders, you will provide architectural direction and assurance to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements and future technology needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of solution architectures across intelligence, analytics, data, AI and business applications.
• Develop conceptual, logical and technical architecture designs, diagrams and supporting documentation.
• Design and govern integration solutions across Azure, data platforms, enterprise applications and operational systems.
• Lead architecture reviews, design assurance and technical governance activities.
• Provide strategic advice on technology direction, risks, dependencies, technical debt and future capabilities.
• Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, information governance and compliance requirements.
• Define and govern non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, resilience, availability and supportability.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project, delivery and operational teams.
• Provide architectural oversight of vendor-delivered solutions.
• Ensure AI-enabled solutions incorporate responsible AI, governance and appropriate human oversight.

Essential

• 10+ years' experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or a related architecture role.
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud, analytics, digital transformation or business application solutions.
• Strong experience across Solution Architecture, Azure Data Services, Analytics, Integration, Cloud Architecture, AI and Information Management.
• Proven experience designing cloud-native architectures, data integration and enterprise application integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, solution governance, security and identity management.
• Experience providing strategic architectural advice and technical leadership within complex enterprise environments.

Desirable

• Experience delivering intelligence, investigation, regulatory, information-sharing or decision-support platforms.
• Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
• Experience with AI-enabled business solutions and Responsible AI principles.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with architecture governance, Technical Design Authority and vendor solution assurance.
