Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Solutions Architect in Seoul, Korea, who is passionate about helping Healthcare & Life Sciences organizations use AI, agentic AI, and cloud technologies to improve patient outcomes, accelerate research, and transform operations. This role is for a curious, customer-obsessed technologist who can navigate ambiguity, challenge traditional thinking, and turn complex industry needs into practical paths forward. You will engage customers early in their transformation journeys and help them experiment, learn, and scale with AWS to create visible and measurable impact.
Key job responsibilities
A broad, foundational understanding of Infrastructure, Application Architecture, DevOps, Networking, Security, Containers, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and Analytics provides a strong base for success in this role. For AI and agentic AI, we value practical fundamentals together with the curiosity and motivation to continuously deepen your knowledge and apply these technologies to Healthcare & Life Sciences.
- Work directly with Healthcare and Life Sciences customers to understand their business context, uncover technical challenges, and design secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-native and AI-powered solutions aligned with their long-term goals
- Own end-to-end solution design by applying repeatable design patterns where appropriate and creating new reusable architectures when needed, while seeking input from senior architects on complex risks or constraints
- Build and rapidly prototype AI and agentic AI solutions in customers' non-production environments, helping them validate ideas and accelerate their path to production
- Develop and deliver technical content such as workshops, white papers, blog posts, and presentations to educate customers and share best practices across the community
- Partner with sales, specialist, professional services, support, and engineering teams to bring the right expertise to customers and accelerate their adoption of AWS services
A day in the life
After joining our team, you will be provided with a ramp-up plan and a mentor to ensure you get off to a good start. After that, we will ask you to dive deeply into your customer's business and technology situations and help them identify which issues and goals can best serve by adopting AWS cloud. We will also ask you to enable the customers to be successful in their cloud adoption by answering their technical questions, removing technical blockers they encounter, delivering hands-on workshops, and providing architectural guidance. You will have opportunities to work with various customers, present at the AWS Summits in Seoul and elsewhere, conduct internal tech talks, and publish blogs and whitepapers. You will also have an opportunity to influence the direction of our products by providing actionable customer feedback to the service teams.
