Solutions Architect - Lakebase

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (Lakebase) to partner with account teams and drive adoption of the Lakebase product across a defined territory in Italy. You will develop presentations, demos and collateral to help clients understand how the product fits their data and AI objectives.

The role requires 6+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, strong SQL and Python, and hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory. As a trusted advisor, serve as an expert Solutions Architect and champion, building technical credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption and vision. Enable clients at scale through workshops and developing customer-facing collateral that helps increase technical knowledge and thought leadership. Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams Handle the most complex technical challenges in this product line by acting as the tier-3 escalation point for the field, ensuring customer success in mission-critical environments. 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives, driving high-level data strategy and product adoption. Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate cross-functionally. Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consultants. Proficient in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python. Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming. Undergraduate degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or similar. Track record of driving complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
