Solutions Architect (Node.js + React)

About The Role
In this role, you will shape scalable technology solutions across multiple initiatives, guiding architecture decisions from pre-sales and discovery through planning and implementation while advising teams and stakeholders. Working within the Solutions Center of Excellence, you will collaborate with cross-functional experts to support diverse projects, translating complex business needs into practical, high-impact architectures.
Responsibilities
- Participate in proposal preparation with different parties, stakeholders, and workflows
- Complete estimation and scope decomposition
- Define risk assessment, dependencies, and assumptions
- Create technical specifications and architecture vision documentation
- Evaluate technology and comparisons
- Participate in discovery phases and workshops covering all technical aspects
- Design prototypes and proof-of-concept, with their further delivery and presentation to stakeholders
- Implement and create the core of that or another system
- Transfer the knowledge to the development team
- Discover new technological practice development for the company
- Cooperate with other stakeholders who do not report to the person, but take an active participation in design, decision-making, selling, and implementation
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software development with 10+ years of hands-on engineering across modern application platforms and architectures
- Advanced experience in software architecture with 5+ years designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable enterprise-grade systems
- Strong knowledge of various architecture styles and the distinctions between SOA and Microservices
- Strong proficiency with a major technology stack, such as Node.js and React, with deep hands-on development or architecture expertise
- Advanced experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native architecture patterns, with architect-level or hands-on knowledge of at least one major cloud provider
- Solid understanding of pre-sales activities and project planning processes, including solution shaping, estimation, and technical proposal support
- Proven experience consulting clients on technical architecture decisions and cross-domain technology topics in complex delivery environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong in leading teams of engineers and technical leads
- Readiness for business trips up to 4 weeks per year
