Solutions Architect
Salary: RM 15,000 – RM 20,000 per month
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to drive the design and evolution of scalable, secure, and high-performing fintech platforms. You will lead key architecture decisions and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deliver robust solutions across payment systems, APIs, cloud-native platforms, bank integrations, and high-volume transaction processing. Key Responsibilities:
Lead solution and system design activities for new initiatives and platform enhancements
Review and validate technical designs, integrations, and architecture decisions across projects
Ensure solutions align with scalability, security, resiliency, and operational best practices
Establish and maintain architecture standards, design patterns, and technical governance processes
Work closely with engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure design consistency and quality implementation
Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams on deployment architecture and operational readiness
Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies early and provide practical recommendations
Support modernization initiatives including cloud-native architecture, APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution review materials
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams when needed
Job Requirements:
Strong experience in solution architecture, system design, or senior software engineering roles
Good understanding of distributed systems, APIs, integration architecture, and cloud environments
Experience designing scalable and high-availability systems
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and Kubernetes environments
Strong understanding of application security, secure design principles, and operational considerations
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated environments is an added advantage
Experience with payment platforms, ISO8583, DuitNow, cards, eWallets, or banking integrations are added advantage
Familiarity with PCI-DSS, RMiT, or security and compliance-driven environments
Exposure to event-driven architecture, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms
Experience with observability, API governance, and infrastructure automation
