Solutions Architect — Pre-Sales

About the Role

The Solutions Architect — Pre-Sales is Rubiscape's most senior technical voice in the sales cycle, architecting end-to-end Decision Intelligence solutions for complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals. You will engage at CTO, Chief Data Officer, and VP Engineering levels to design deployment blueprints — spanning SaaS, BYOC, On-Premises, and Air-Gap environments — that integrate Rubiscape's six studios into a prospect's existing data ecosystem. Your architectural credibility and platform depth will be the deciding factor in competitive displacements of Databricks, Snowflake-native stacks, and legacy BI platforms at Fortune 500 enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

· Architect comprehensive Decision Intelligence platform designs that map a prospect's current data estate (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) to Rubiscape's full six-studio capabilities, including RubiFlow, RubiStudio, RubiSight, RubiAI, RubiThings, and Business Workbench.

· Lead CXO and CTO-level technical workshops to establish data strategy alignment, define success criteria, and position Rubiscape's <90-day first production use case commitment.

· Own the technical win strategy for strategic accounts — coordinating PoC scoping, staffing, and execution across pre-sales consultants, professional services, and product specialists.

· Produce enterprise-grade solution design documents, integration architecture diagrams, and security & compliance mapping for prospects with air-gap, BYOC, and hybrid deployment requirements.

· Develop and present total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses demonstrating 5x cost reduction versus multi-tool legacy stacks, incorporating licensing, infrastructure, and operational cost modelling.

· Act as the authoritative technical responder for complex RFPs in regulated industries (BFSI, government, defence, healthcare), covering data residency, RBAC, audit trails, and SLA commitments.

· Partner with the Product team to define platform roadmap priorities based on architectural gaps identified during enterprise evaluations, directly influencing Rubiscape's 8-patent innovation pipeline.

Requirements

Requirements

· 6+ years of solutions architecture or pre-sales architecture experience in enterprise data platforms, cloud data warehousing, or AI/ML infrastructure.

· Deep technical proficiency in at least two major cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience designing solutions on Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent lakehouse/warehouse architectures.

· Proven track record architecting and winning enterprise deals exceeding INR 2 Cr in annual contract value, with direct CXO engagement experience.

· Strong command of data engineering patterns (ELT/ETL, streaming, batch, CDC), MLOps lifecycle management, and enterprise BI/analytics governance.

· Experience producing formal solution design documents, security architecture reviews, and compliance mapping for regulated industry procurement processes.

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering; relevant cloud or data certifications (AWS SA, Azure Solutions Architect, Databricks Certified) strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

· Prior experience at a Decision Intelligence, augmented analytics, or AI platform vendor in a solutions architecture or field engineering role.

· Published thought leadership, conference presentations, or Industry-Academia collaboration experience in data science or AI domains.

· Exposure to IoT data architectures relevant to RubiThings deployments in manufacturing, utilities, or smart infrastructure.

· Familiarity with India's DPDP Act, RBI data localisation norms, or SEBI reporting requirements as they relate to enterprise data platform design.
