OUR CLIENT
Established in 2008 and based in Adelaide, Rachis is a South Australian owned managed service provider and an ISO 27001 certified business. They deliver managed services such as security, compliance, cloud, data, AI and automation, and are backed by 100% local support. Their purpose is simple, to take the stress out of technology by delivering business excellence through automation and partnership. Due to growth, they are seeking a Solutions Consultant to join their team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is more than another infrastructure role. The Solutions Consultant sits at the point where good engineering becomes a better business outcome. You will work across client environments to implement and support secure, reliable solutions.
You won't be limited to one narrow technical lane. You will own meaningful pieces of work from design through to handover, contribute to complex problem-solving, work directly with clients and build the capability to progress with clear role expectations, scorecards and a defined pathway.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Deliver solutions end-to-end - Implement and support server, network, Microsoft 365, Azure, backup and endpoint solutions, with disciplined scoping, testing, documentation and handover
  • Solve the difficult problems - Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and client issues, bringing calm diagnosis, sound judgement and clear communication
  • Strengthen client environments - Use monitoring, documentation and evidence to identify risk, prevent recurring issues and make practical improvements
  • Be technical and human - Understand the client's business need, explain options in plain language and manage expectations from first conversation to final handover
  • Show up when it matters - Provide onsite support for faults, installations, go-lives and office moves
  • Lift the team around you - Share knowledge, contribute to internal documentation and work closely with service, project and client-facing colleagues
ABOUT YOU
You will take ownership, think beyond the immediate fault and communicate well with people who don't speak in technical shorthand.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Around three or more years' experience in systems engineering, infrastructure or systems administration, ideally within an MSP or consulting environment
  • Strong capability across Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
  • Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration and endpoint management experience, including Intune and Autopilot
  • Working Azure knowledge across virtual machines, storage and identity
  • Solid networking fundamentals across VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, switching, routing and TCP/IP
  • Experience with RMM, monitoring, backup and ticketing platforms
  • Clear written and verbal communication, sound prioritisation and strong documentation habits
  • A valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport for client-site travel
  • A National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them
  • Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, MS-102, MS-700, SC-300, SC-400), CompTIA or ITIL qualifications, ConnectWise or a similar PSA platform, and exposure to security frameworks or cloud migrations are all useful, but not mandatory
WHY JOIN RACHIS
Rachis offers more than just a job. It's a chance to grow your career with a business that genuinely backs its people. You'll work alongside a close-knit, collaborative team, gain exposure to a broad range of technologies and develop your skills through meaningful work. Rachis has invested in clear performance metrics and role scorecards so employees can see their progression pathway, backed by real investment in training and development. In a local, ISO 27001 certified business where security and good process are part of the standard, you'll be known by your clients and your team for the outcomes you create, not just the tickets you close.

HOW TO APPLY
If you want variety without chaos, responsibility without being left alone, and a clear opportunity to grow your technical and client-facing capability, we would love to hear from you.
