Summary:
As a Solutions Designer, you will be the
Lead Designer for a portfolio of GreenLiving customers—guiding them from first
interaction to final order. You’ll be responsible for understanding their
requirements, crafting design solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics,
and budget, and preparing technical documentation to hand off to manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
· Act
as the primary design contact for customers throughout the pre-sales process.
· Collaborate
with customers to gather requirements and translate their vision into effective
design solutions.
· Create
space plans, 3D visuals, and technical drawings using space planning tools such
as Google SketchUp.
· Prepare
accurate quotes and support customers with design iterations within their
budget.
· Finalize
all production-ready drawings and hand them off to manufacturing and
installation teams.
· Maintain
close coordination with sales, production, and site execution teams.
· Prioritize
multiple design projects and ensure they meet TAT (Turnaround Time), sales
targets, and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
· Evaluate
and improve the design experience based on customer feedback and sales
performance reports.
· Visit
customer sites if needed to validate design feasibility and ensure smooth
installation readiness.
Requirements
Qualifications
· Minimum
2-Year Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture from a reputed institution.
· 5+
years of site experience (Must understand real-world execution and
constraints).
· Demonstrated
expertise in residential projects (kitchens, wardrobes, home offices, etc.).
· Advanced
skills in Google SketchUp or equivalent for visual design communication.
· Strong
knowledge of interior detailing, joinery, and cabinetry systems.
· Excellent
verbal and written communication in English.
· High
customer empathy, ability to balance design aspirations, functionality, and
budget.
· Team
player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

· Strong
time-management and project prioritization skills.
· Ability
to present and defend design decisions in front of customers.
· Prior
experience working with modular furniture or custom cabinetry manufacturers is
a big plus.
